Reporting and Printing

SpiceLogic AHP Software can create two report types: PDF and Excel. Open the Reporting menu to find the report commands.

Click the PDF button to create a PDF report similar to the one shown below.

    Edge Case

If you just started the application and have not created a model yet, there is nothing to report. If you click the PDF reporting button at that point, the software shows a message like the one below.

    Print Preview and Printing

AHP Software can show a print preview by opening a built-in PDF viewer with the generated PDF report. You can find Print Preview in the File menu.

The print preview window looks like this.

One practical note: the Print Preview window may require the application to run as administrator.

Windows Start menu search result for AHP Software with the right-click 'Run as administrator' option highlighted, the elevation required for the built-in Print Preview window to load.

If Windows shows an error asking you to open the application as administrator, you can still create the PDF report from the Reporting menu. That PDF is effectively your print preview, and you can print it from your normal PDF viewer.

The File menu also has a Print command. If that command gives an error, create the PDF report and print from the PDF viewer instead.
