  1. Paste from MS Word lost the document's look: Title/heading/caption styles, default typeface, text highlighting, table shading, and list nesting
  2. Floating text-wrapped Word pictures pasted as an invisible 1x1 spacer, and pasted pictures broke after Word's temp folder cleanup
  3. HTML comments were nested one layer deeper on every render of the HTML source view, and the DOCTYPE was shown commented out
